Lesley was recommended to us as the ideal person to care for Alice our slightly nervous rescue spaniel – how lucky was I!
Alice has home boarded with Lesley & Phil whilst we’ve been away on holiday many times -I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Lesley is so dedicated to giving great home care; she always goes out of her way to help out & clearly gives Alice a warm, loving & safe environment to stay in.
Highly recommended.
Marvin has been to Red Lion Canines for training through from Puppy Foundation to KC Gold. We enjoy the sessions its a relaxed atmosphere and small friendly groups. He has also stayed there for both occasional nights and longer holiday stays. He loves it there and is always so excited to see Lesley. I’m happy he is safe and well looked after there, I wouldn’t want him to go anywhere else.
I cannot praise Red Lion Canines enough, the care and time taken before my beloved GSD was accepted for home boarding and the following care he has received. The fact that he goes off happily and doesn’t look round is recommendation enough. He’s been going to RLC for nearly two years now and I would be loath for him to go anywhere else.
Thank you Lesley and Phil.
Lesley first trained my dog as a puppy and I was so encouraging and helpful. When I found out she also offered dog care I thought all my Christmases had come at once. Great people, great environment. My dog comes back really happy and tired out after a day of play.
Lesley is also a fantastic communicator and really supportive too. The hours that she offers are really good too to enable me to do a full days work.
I couldn’t recommend Red Lion Canines highly enough !
Misty is our 4th beagle and all our previous beagles spent time in kennels when we needed to go away. But Misty (who was a lockdown puppy) became anxious when left in kennels even for a very short time. We knew we had to do something different when she came home from kennels with a patch of wet eczema under her chin where she had been dribbling constantly since we left her. After extensive research I found Lesley who spent time understanding the issues and explaining her approach.
Misty always seems happy to go, wagging her tail and keen to say hello when she see’s Lesley. She doesn’t resist in anyway and we have not had any issues with dribbling when she’s at Lesley’s.
Lesley put me at ease and I was so impressed by the fact that she has a well proven process to integrate Misty into being left with her. I found Lesley to be very professional but relaxed, which always helps build relationships with dogs and their owners. We have complete confidence that Lesley know’s what Misty needs for her care, even though Beagles are notoriously tricky as a breed.
I have known Lesley for about 15 years now. We have done puppy training courses with her and also used her lovely home boarding services too. We also try as much as possible to join in the group walking sessions which Crazy Clover loves (me too as it is a very socialable and friendly group – I’m just as keen on the mud as Clover is lol!). We feel that our lovely family member is being very well looked after when she is with Lesley and would not hesitate to recommend her services.
