What we do
Home Boarding
We offer home boarding on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis within our home environment in the East Kent area.
Your dog will receive individual care and attention with all of the comforts of a home environment.
Set in a 3-acre semi-rural location backing onto a large forest with a caring family.
FREE workup sessions including at least one sleepover, this allows us to make sure that your dog is happy and comfortable in our environment.
On request, we can provide in house training, with follow up training sessions for you and your dog.
Open seven days a week, 365 days a year even Christmas Day and Boxing Day!
We, unfortunately, do not take entire male dogs.
Fully Insured, and Licensed by Canterbury City Council - licence number ABOARD/18/05839
Canine First Aid certificate holder.

Red Lion Canines ‘Trick & Treat’ Courses for adults, children & dogs of all ages – Teaching your dog a trick or two is fantastic for his mental stimulation, and it also helps build a bond between dog & handler and its great fun too!
We also offer children's dog training sessions, workshops, & basic agility classes.
Trick & Treat Courses

Basic obedience training is useful to have before you begin to teach your dog tricks. Apart from helping the trick training process, obedience training is important for your dog's safety & wellbeing.
Red Lion Canines ‘Trick & Treat classes’ are designed to help build confident puppies, adult, and older dogs.
Yes! You can teach an old dog new tricks!
Home Visits
We are able to visit your animals in their own environment and have facilities for small animals onsite.

The Walking Train
Social dog walks in the wonderful Kent countryside/or by the sea is a great way to meet people, and an enjoyable way for your dog to socialize and have some fun.
We provide help and support to you if you have for whatever reason lost confidence with walking your dog in public places or maybe your dog would just benefit from being around other dogs.
Everyone is welcome!

The Cuddle Club
The cuddle club is a voluntary service and it has been created for children, adults, and the elderly that are terminally ill, feeling lonely, suffering with anxiety, in times of bereavement either from a loss of a human or an animal companion, or maybe a child/adult that is just struggling on a daily basis and is in need of a cuddle.
Animals are great to be around and they just adore sharing time with you.
You can either become a member of the cuddle club or just have a one off cuddle – Please make contact to discuss your requirements.
Within The Cuddle Club, there is a ‘Reading Club’ for children of all ages! Children can practice their reading to the animals in a stress free, happy, and safe environment.
A variety of animals are available for a cuddle.

Pet Taxi
We offer a Pet Taxi Service for Dogs, Cats and small animals:
- Trips to the vet
- Moving house
- Groomers
- Weddings
Or anywhere your pet needs transporting to!
Reiki
I first became introduced to Reiki some years ago when one of my horses became unwell. I was intrigued by its dramatic effects and wanted to learn more so in August 2006 I was attuned to level one Reiki, went on to Level 2 in October 2006, and qualified as a Master Practitioner & Master Teacher in October 2008.
Reiki is a complimentary treatment that works alongside veterinary care and I am able to offer treatments to all animals ideally in their own environment.
Wedding Care Packages
Stuck for dog care whilst you are out on those pre-wedding shopping days? Why not let us care for your beloved companion so you do not have to limit the time you are away from home?
Would you like your dog to attend your wedding day? We can bring him along so he can be included in some special wedding day photographs.
What about care whilst you are away on your honeymoon? Care can be given in our home environment – FREE workup sessions would need to be done prior to his stay.
We can offer all of these either as individual packages or a package to suit your needs!
